Here are some of the advanced features:

There is a fast responding polyphonic guitar synthesizer which in conjunction with a little chorus and reverb can produce some very interesting and refreshingly different sounds.

The multiband echo (also called a spectral delay) can produce anything from unusual wah type sounds to sci-fi laser noises, as well as an arpeggio effect, and echoes.

Next on the list is a multiband distortion which creates a very rich and wide sound and allows you to control the amount of distortion in the bass, mid, and treble ranges. This is a hi-gain effect so it's great for rock and metal.

A 60 band analog harmonic analyser shows what makes a guitar sound the way it does. The first 5 to 10 harmonics can be easily seen when a string is playing, and the note's pitch and the pitch of its harmonics can be read from the analyser's musical scale. The analyser can also be used to tune a guitar.

very, very cool effects processor for GUITAR, BUT WHAT GOOD IS IT IF YOU CAN'T PLUG IN A GUITAR, IF YOU COULD SET IT UP LIKE OTHER PLUG INS WHERE YOU CAN ACCESS IT AS AUDIO IN FOR GUITAR AND USE IT WITH PC WORKSTATIONS

Too much of a latency problem. I tried a bunch of different settings with still a slight delay. I have Guitar Rig 3, Flying Hagis and a couple of other gtr programs witout any latency problem. I have a Soundblaster Elite pro sound card, Win XP, and Quad core processor.

First thoughts

First of all I installed on Vista 64-bit only to be disappointed. That's understandable though, as I realise that 3rd party driver support for Vista 64 is not exactly forthcoming. Therefore I installed on an XP machine. That worked fine except for the dreadful latency in the output. I think honestly more support and advice needs to be given to prospective users regarding drivers / sound cards etc. I mean with the default settings there was a 50ms second latency on the output and it is totally impossible to play anything meaningful with that kind of latency. Many many people won't be technically inclined to even understand latency as a term let along to persevere and work stuff out. It's far more likely they'll find it impossible to use and just give up.

Probably a really good product in spite of all that - more time with it needed to be sure.

This program was very good and useful because I use my guitar a lot and I don't have an amplifier.
